Welcome to the home of RFID in New Zealand; The New Zealand RFID Pathfinder Group, New Zealand’s only independent RFID resource for information and guidance about most things radio frequency identification.

Pathfinder has just published a UHF Tag Assessment report that focuses on the use of commercially available UHF RFID tags for use on livestock. Findings corroborate earlier research that UHF RFID tags do have an application for use with livestock.

Pathfinder has also just published a report into the use of the efficacy of the EPCIS Standard for Livestock and Meat Traceability with a focus on deer and venison. An overview of the key findings is available here.
